Falcons cornerback Desmond leaves, returns quickly

Falcons cornerback Desmond Trufant was taken to the locker room late in the first quarter during the team’s second possession on defense.

Trufant was replaced at left cornerback by C.J. Goodwin.

He’d apparently just lost his wind and returned for the subsequent series.
