A reader is concerned over a street that suddenly became closed. The reader said the closure is causing a great deal of inconvenience for thousands of drivers.

“Several weeks ago the section of West Wesley Road between Bohler Road and Moores Mill Road was blocked off for some work. Could you please find out when the street will be open again? There are literally thousands of cars that use this street every day and the inconvenience of having to detour miles out of the way is becoming a source of frustration, especially since there never seems to be anyone working when we check,” the reader wrote.

Another reader hopes something can be done about the condition of one of the city’s most famous streets. The reader hopes the issue can be addressed soon, to help all all the visitors who come to the city during the fall.

“Where did the Peachtree Street lane lines go? Before Atlanta invites all of these guests to town for football games, it would be nice if we had lane lines on Peachtree. From Lenox to Midtown, it is a guess as to where you are to drive. I stay in the right lane just because I know it’s next to the curb. This is pathetic for our main drag to look so worn out. I can’t imagine what a visitor thinks. I would be scared to death to drive down Peachtree,” the reader said.

We sent the concern to the city and will let you know when it is addressed.
