Tom Ford boutique now open at the Shops Buckhead Atlanta

The Tom Ford boutique made its long-awaited debut at the Shops Buckhead Atlanta last week at an event hosted by SCAD and Tom Ford. Top local clients and SCAD's board of directors sipped cocktails while viewing the new boutique.

During the evening, 10% of the proceeds went towards SCAD's educational efforts. Hosts for the evening included SCAD President Paula Wallace, Domenico and Eleanore De Sole (Chairman of Tom Ford and his wife who are longtime SCAD supporters), Millie Smith, Stacey Leebern, Jason Moattar, Anita Thomas, and Ginny Brewer.

Here's a look at the action:

The Atlanta store is the eighth Tom Ford flagship store in the U.S. It is housed in 5,000 square feet of space and features the full range of Tom Ford merchandise including womenswear, menswear, eyewear, and beauty collections.

The blackened steel doors open into the black granite vestibule which leads to the women’s handbag salon. Just beyond is the women’s ready-to-wear salon with a white linen sofa as the centerpiece.

This space flows into the women's shoe salon which then leads into an area featuring Tom Ford eyewear and cosmetics including sunglass and optical frames and all Tom Ford cosmetics and fragrances.

The remainder of the store is devoted to menswear, with separate salons featuring men’s luggage and men's shoes.

The suiting salon, where eveningwear, shirting and made-to-measure suits are on display, leads to the sportswear salon where shoppers will find denim collections, jackets, coats, sweaters and belts.
