Colleen McMillar is a premium editor who works mostly with enterprise reporters assigned to cover a range of topics, including public health, the economy, immigration and race and gender. She’s been an editor at The Atlanta Journal-Constitution since 2006. Before that, she spent nearly 14 years as a reporter and editor in New Orleans at The Times-Picayune, which was awarded two Pulitzer Prizes for its staff’s coverage of Hurricane Katrina in 2005. Colleen started her journalism career in her hometown, Macon, at The Telegraph, where she was a roving state reporter.
