Ranking this week’s MLS games from best to worst.

Week 7

1. NYCFC (4-0-1*) at Atlanta United (4-1-0), 6 p.m. Sunday. NYCFC may be in shock after playing at Yankee Stadium's towel-sized field on Wednesday and then coming to a real field on Sunday.

2. Toronto (1-2-0) at Colorado (1-1-2), 3 p.m. Saturday. For its success in CONCACAF Champions League this season, Toronto really hasn't played well in MLS, which is understandable. This game won't be easy because of the altitude and that the Rapids are playing well.

3. Dallas (1-0-3) at New England (3-1-1), 7:30 p.m. Saturday. Are the Revs for real? It would be nice if Dallas were to give them a real test, but who knows with this team?

4. LAFC (2-2-0) at Vancouver (3-2-1), 10 p.m. Friday. LAFC has given up nine goals in the past 125 minutes. Joao Moutinho isn't yet a fullback in MLS and he will continue to be attacked until Bob Bradley figures out a way to help him.

5. L.A. Galaxy (2-2-1) at Chicago (1-2-1), 3:30 p.m. Saturday. With or without Zlatan, this Galaxy team doesn't seem to have an identifiable identity. Chicago won last week, but did so with just one shot on goal.

6. Orlando (2-2-1) at Philadelphia (1-1-2), 8 p.m., Friday. The Lions have fought back to take six points from their last two home games. The question remains why did they need to fight back? Taking three points on the road will be a better indication of the team's quality. It is funny that Dom Dwyer said of a team that has yet to make the playoffs that it should never be counted out.

7. Columbus (3-2-1) at D.C. United (0-3-2), 7 p.m. Saturday. The Crew have dropped two straight. That should stop here.

8. Real Salt Lake (2-2-1) at NYCFC (4-0-1), 7 p.m. Wednesday.

9. Montreal (2-3-0) at New York Red Bulls (2-2-0), 1 p.m. Saturday. If the Red Bulls didn't play an exhausting Champions League game on Tuesday, I would be much more excited about this game.

10. Houston (1-2-1) at San Jose (1-2-1), 10:30 p.m. Saturday. I still like the Dynamo even though they have yet to impress as much as they did in the season-opening win against Atlanta United.

11. Minnesota (2-3-0) at Portland, (0-3-2) 10:30 p.m. Saturday. If you want a game likely void of offense, this is the one for you.

12. Seattle (0-3-0) at Sporting KC (4-1-1), 4 p.m. Sunday. This should be a whipping of epic proportions. Seattle has yet to score this season. Sporting KC has put in 12.
