How many Braves will be All-Stars?
We'll all finally find out tonight when the selections are announced on ESPN beginning at 7 p.m.
Braves first baseman Freddie Freeman and right fielder Nick Markakis appear to be headed for starting roles for the National League based on fan voting.
Second baseman Ozzie Albies and pitchers Mike Foltynewicz and Sean Newcomb are also strong candidates for the NL roster.
Freeman is hitting .310 with 16 homers and 58 RBIs. Markakis is batting .324 with 10 homers and 59 RBIs. Albies is batting .282 with 18 homers and 50 RBIs.
Foltynewicz has a 6-5 record with a 2.37 ERA and Newcomb is 8-3 with a 3.10 ERA.
Former Braves player Matt Kemp, now with the Dodgers, may land a starting spot in the outfield too. Kemp is hitting .317 with 15 homers and 57 RBIs for Los Angeles.
Center fielder Ender Inciarte was the Braves' lone All-Star last season but he's hitting just .248 this season.
The All-Star Game is Tuesday, July 17 at 7:30 at Nationals Park in Washington D.C.
