According to ESPN, Georgia State coach Shawn Elliott suffered a torn right biceps after a touchdown celebration against N.C. State.

The Panthers finished a 2:23 drive with an 8-yard touchdown run from running back Destin Coates, putting up Georgia State’s only points in its 41-7 loss to N.C. State.

ESPN reporter Olivia Harlan Dekker reported Elliott’s injury on her personal Twitter account Wednesday.

Elliott declined to comment Thursday to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution regarding the injury.
