Former Georgia Bulldog Kentavious Caldwell-Pope played in 72 games for the Los Angeles Lakers during the 2017-18 season.

Former Georgia Bulldog Kentavious Caldwell-Pope is back with the Los Angeles Lakers for the 2018-2019 season after agreeing to a one-year, $12 million deal, Yahoo Sports’ Shams Charania reported Sunday.

Caldwell-Pope, who served a 25-day jail sentence in December for a March 2017 DUI charge while playing for the Detroit Pistons, played in 74 games with the Lakers last season, averaging 13.4 points, 5.2 rebounds and 2.2 assists in 33.2 minutes.

A former Greenville High School guard, Caldwell-Pope played for Georgia from 2011-2013 before begin selected by the Pistons with the eighth overall pick in the 2013 NBA Draft.

The Lakers also signed four-time league MVP LeBron James to a four-year deal Sunday as well as JaVale McGee and Lance Stephenson to one-year deals.
