Here are five things we learned from practice on Friday:

1. Schweitzer to start. Falcons coach Dan Quinn announced that Wes Schweitzer will start at right guard for the Falcons against the Steelers on Sunday.

2. McKinley "likely" to play. Quinn said that first-round pick Takkarist McKinley is making progress and is likely to play against the Steelers.

3. Jones out. Falcons All-Pro wide receiver Julio Jones, who's recovering from offseason foot surgery, will not play against the Steelers.

4. Red zone work. All four of the Falcons quarterbacks received a lot of work in the redzone on Friday. It was a point of emphasis for the team.

5. Pass rush work. The defensive line worked against the offensive line in pass rush drills. Brooks Reed, Courtney Upshaw, Jack Crawford and Takkarist McKinley was one of the lines. Chris Odom, Joe Vellano, Taneia Tupou, and J'Terious Jones was another unit.
