Plenty of local connections on Atlanta Legends roster

The Atlanta Legends finalized the roster for their upcoming inaugural season and it features several players with local ties.

The biggest connection is former Georgia quarterback Aaron Murray. The roster features other players from Georgia, Georgia Tech, Georgia Southern, West Georgia, Clark-Atlanta and Valdosta State.

The Legends open play in the new Alliance of American Football League that begins next month. The team completed a league-wide training camp in San Antonio on Wednesday.

The Legends first game will be at Orlando on Feb. 9.
