Six players who help themselves at Senior Bowl

The AJC's D. Orlando Ledbetter breaks down those with rising NFL Draft stock after Senior Bowl practices. Marcus Davenport, DE, Texas-San Antonio Jordan Akins, TE, Central Florida Shaquem Griffin, LB, Central Florida Dorian O'Daniel, LB, Clemson Christian Campbell, CB, Penn State Isaac Yiadom, CB, Boston College

Here are six players who helped themselves during the two days of padded practices at the Senior Bowl:

1. Marcus Davenport, defensive end, Texas-San Antonio: He's a late bloomer who played for Larry Coker and has been working out with former NFL coach Jim Washburn. Scouts like his size (6-foot-5-7/8 and 259 pounds) and quickness. Coker compares him to Calais Campbell.

2. Jordan Akins, tight end, Central Florida: His route running has been immaculate. He's been able to separate from linebackers and get open deep down field.

3. Shaquem Griffin, outside linebacker, Central Florida: Tackles have not been able to block him coming off the edge. He gets low to the ground and is able to bend the corner to the quarterback without losing any speed.

4. Dorian O'Daniel, linebacker, Clemson: A speedy linebacker who's been sticking to running backs and tight ends in coverage.

5. Christian Campbell, cornerback, Penn State: A bigger corner who showed that he can press receivers at the line of scrimmage.

6. Isaac Yiadom, cornerback, Boston College: He had two very strong practices and is physical.
