Pittsburgh Steelers could have every starter healthy against Colts

When the Pittsburgh Steelers go up against the Indianapolis Colts, every single one of their starters might be able to take the field.

The Steelers have been fairly healthy for most of the 2017 season, but defensive end Stephon Tuitt and right tackle Marcus Gilbert have both missed multiple games due to injury. However, they have been full participants in practice all week and are not listed on the injury report.

The only player who might miss the Colts’ game is free safety Mike Mitchell. He injured an achilles during the Steelers’ win against the Detroit Lions in Week 9 and had to leave the field.

Mitchell was limited in practice on Wednesday and Thursday, but was a full participant on Friday and is expected to play. If he is indeed a go on Sunday, this will be the first time all season that the Steelers’ entire starting lineup is healthy, via the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette’s Ray Fittipaldo.

If the Steelers are fortunate enough to maintain this health the rest of the season, the rest of the AFC will have a tall task trying to keep them out of the Super Bowl.
