Falcons running back Devonta Freeman, while hoping to land a contract extension, is still taking online classes toward earning credit toward his degree in Social Psychology of Groups and Intro to World Cities from Florida State.

“I’m still in classes,” Freeman told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution. “I’ve been taking like one class online, because I know I’m not going to want to do two classes. It’s a process. It’s not a rush thing or anything like that.”

During his second season, Freeman did take two online classes, but has scaled back.
