The Falcons placed injured free safety Ricardo Allen on injured reserve and made a couple of minor moves on Tuesday.

Allen suffered a torn Achilles tendon in the 43-37 overtime loss to the Saints on Sunday. He’s out for the season.

The Falcons signed safety Sharrod Neasman, who was with the team during the 2016 season and played in Super Bowl LI.

They also signed linebacker Bruce Carter and waived rookie linebacker Dewey Jarvis, who played on special teams on Sunday.

The Falcons also signed cornerback Deante Burton and linebacker Richie Brown to the practice squad and waived wide receiver Christian Blake.
