Spring practice: Day 1

Wisconsin hit the field for practice Tuesday morning for the first time of spring. Jesse Temple takes you inside the McClain Center with his practice observations.

Wisconsin pro day

The Badgers will hold their pro day Wednesday morning. Thirteen former players are expected to take part, and Wisconsin will broadcast it on Facebook Live.

Recruiting notebook

Wisconsin had four 4-star commits in the 2019 class at this time last month. Now, the Badgers have just two. What happened? We look into that and more in our latest recruiting notebook.

Andy Van Vliet transferring

From an opening day starter to leaving school as a transfer. That was the path traveled this season by junior forward Andy Van Vliet, who announced Tuesday he would be leaving the Wisconsin basketball program.

Who’s your 5?

The Badgers played in 19 straight NCAA Tournaments and had quite a few good players along the way. So the team’s social media team put together a list of the 25 best players and is asking fans to choose their starting five.

Frozen Four homecoming

Wisconsin beat Minnesota 4-0 last week to advance to the Frozen Four this weekend against Colgate. The game just happens to be in Minneapolis, which will serve as a homecoming for five current Badgers.

Trent Fredric turns pro

One of Wisconsin’s top players is turning pro after two seasons. Forward Trent Frederic signed with the Boston Bruins on Tuesday.
