With Georgia’s players still wrapping their heads around a monumental victory over Oklahoma, and recovering from the double-overtime battle that it was, they got a visit from one of the school’s all-time greats.
In the locker room after the Bulldogs’ 54-48 win over the Sooners, the players were congratulated by former Georgia RB Todd Gurley, who went around the room to share in the moment at the Rose Bowl.
Some players were starstruck and asked to take a picture with the Los Angeles Rams standout, who’s a strong candidate to win the league’s MVP award this season.

Gurley is gearing up for a playoff game of his own as his third-seeded Rams will face the Atlanta Falcons at home in the wild card round on Saturday.
Of course, that game will be just two days before Georgia will face Alabama in the National Championship Game in Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta.
Gurley has been nothing short of phenomenal, rushing for an NFC-best 1,305 yards and 13 touchdowns. He’s also caught 64 passes for 788 yards and 6 TDs, showing off incredible versatility in his third year in the NFL.
He was taken 10th overall by the Rams in the 2015 NFL Draft.
