Georgia fans are going to love Quay Walker for what he did on National Signing Day. And it goes beyond just picking the Bulldogs.
Walker, a long-time Alabama commit, had been considered a Tennessee lean in the weeks leading up to National Signing Day. And when it came time to put on the hat, the No. 31 prospect in the country briefly put on a Tennessee hat.
Then he took the Tennessee hat off and threw it to the ground. He then revealed that he was wearing Georgia pants and a Georgia shirt, confirming that he was a Bulldog.

With Walker committing, along with 5-star cornerback Tyson Campbell, 4-star wide receiver Tommy Bush and 4-star outside linebacker Otis Reese, the Bulldogs have the No. 1 class in the country. Georgia also landed a commitment from 4-star 2019 tight end Ryland Goede.
Missing out on Walker also has to sting for Tennessee, given that it had already lost the No.1 player in the state, 5-star offensive lineman Cade Mays, to the Bulldogs in the early signing period. The Vols are led by former Georgia defensive coordinator Jeremy Pruitt. As of 12:3o PM ET, the Volunteers have the No. 21 class in the country
This is the first time since 2010 that a team other than Alabama will have the No. 1 class in the country. This recruiting class for Georgia is also the best in program history.
