Two more honors came the way of Georgia Tech guard Parker Braun on Tuesday. The junior was Tech’s only representative on the preseason All-ACC team and was also named to the preseason watch list for the Outland Trophy, given annually to the nation’s top interior lineman.

Braun was named on 83 out of 148 ballots from media members at the ACC Kickoff last week. Braun was named second-team All-ACC last season as a sophomore. He was the only Coastal Division player on the preseason All-ACC offense and one of seven total on the 27-player team. Clemson had the most selections with eight.

Braun was one of 82 players named to the Outland Trophy list and one of 12 from the ACC. He was one of just 20 offensive guards.

Quarterback TaQuon Marshall received two votes for preseason ACC player of the year, which went to Boston College running back A.J. Dillon, who received 45 votes.
