Tori Gurley admits he was wrong after Georgia destroys South Carolina

Tori Gurley was a pretty good sport after the Georgia Bulldogs made him eat his words on Saturday.

In the week leading up to the Georgia-South Carolina game, Gurley guaranteed that his alma mater would upset the No. 3-ranked Bulldogs.

I guarantee South Carolina Beats UGA on Saturday!!! Columbia is going to be Lit!!!

Obviously, he was wrong. The Bulldogs demolished the Gamecocks in a 41-17 victory. And Gurley admitted it.

The former South Carolina receiver praised the Bulldogs on Twitter and even changed his avatar to the Georgia logo.

Georgia, you’re messing up my guarantees lol. You guys played like the 3rd ranked team that you are. Congrats!!!

Kudos to Gurley for taking it in stride, even if he won’t hear the end of this for a while.

Georgia Tech’s first step against Clemson: Better starts

Georgia Tech defensive end Anree Saint-Amour has a fairly accurate memory of how the Yellow Jackets were led to defeat in each of their past three games against Clemson. “I feel like the last couple years, I feel like we kind of got out to a slow start in the beginning, defense gave up quick touchdowns, 1, 2, 3, something like that, and then...
