The list of Georgia Tech targets for the 2017 signing class may be down to Jonesboro High guard M.J. Walker. New York forward Sidney Wilson, who had appeared a longshot for Tech from the start, committed to St. John’s on Saturday.

Wilson, who played this past season for Brewster Academy in New Hampshire, the same school as Tech signee Curtis Haywood, listed Tech in his final six, along with Connecticut, Florida, Syracuse, Texas and St. John’s.

Tech has added four players to the roster since the season ended, forwards Evan Cole (South Forsyth High) and Moses Wright (Raleigh, N.C.) and guard Shembari Phillips, a transfer from Tennessee. Haywood (Yukon, Okla.) signed in April after committing in December.

It’s conceivable Tech could sign another high-school prospect besides Walker or a transfer. Tech coach Josh Pastner and his staff are continuing to evaluate, but have not made any other scholarship offers.
