From Frank Sinkwich in 1943 to Leonard Floyd in 2016, the names of 30 former Georgia Bulldogs have been called during the first round of the NFL Draft.

A few more could be taken in the 2018 NFL Draft (April 26-28 in Arlington, Texas). Here are a few numbers to consider:

• Four Bulldogs -- Sinkwich, Charley Trippi,  Harry Babock and Matthew Stafford -- were selected first overall.

• On seven occasions, two Bulldogs players taken in the first round (2013, 2009, 2005, 2003, 2001, 1999 and 1990).

• While more than a handful of NFL teams have picked multiple Bulldogs in the first round, the New Orleans Saints led all teams with four players selected.

• The offense holds a slight edge over the defense with 16 players taken in the opening round.

• Running backs lead the charge with at least eight players who have played the position selected first.
