The dream continues for former Georgia Tech defensive end KeShun Freeman. One of 52 players brought in by the New Orleans Saints on a tryout basis for their rookie mini-camp this past weekend, Freeman was one of four players signed from the tryout to the 90-man offseason roster.

Freeman had participated in the Baltimore Ravens rookie mini-camp the previous weekend, also on a tryout basis.

Freeman was one of two of the four signing as an undrafted free agent, as the other two had NFL experience. Freeman worked out as a linebacker for the Saints.

He is the second former Yellow Jackets player to make an NFL roster after trying out at a rookie mini-camp, with cornerback Step Durham (Kansas City Chiefs) being the other.

Former center Freddie Burden (Cleveland Browns) and cornerbacks Lance and Lawrence Austin (Falcons) also had tryouts.
