Georgia Tech sophomore Josh Okogie created a buzz at the NBA draft combine Thursday with impressive measurements during athletic testing and a solid performance in the five-on-five scrimmage.
Okogie tied for the best vertical leap (42 inches) among prospects and had the best score in the lane agility test. Okogie’s wingspan measured at 7-feet, which is excellent for his height (6-4.5) and bodes well for his potential to defend bigger wings in the NBA.
Okogie still has the option to return to Georgia Tech because he hasn’t hired an agent. The deadline to make a decision is May 30.
