Hawks rookie Omari Spellman had 20 points and five rebounds in a loss to the Trail Blazers in the Las Vegas Summer League Thursday.

The Hawks will conclude their appearance in the Las Vegas Summer League with a game against the Clippers Friday. The game will be played at 10:30 p.m. and air on NBA TV.

The Hawks dropped into the loser’s bracket of the tournament portion of the event after a 95-69 loss to the Trail Blazers Thursday.

The Hawks (2-3) got 20 points and five rebounds from rookie Omari Spellman. Antonius Cleveland, Robert Johnson and Junior Robinson all scored 11 points in the loss.

The Hawks played with a depleted lineup. Trae Young and John Collins were held out for rest. Young has appeared in all six summer league games after being the No. 5 overall pick in the draft. Collins sat out the previous two games after last year’s first-round pick had solid outings in Salt Lake City and Las Vegas. The Hawks were also without Tyler Dorsey (right groin tightness) and Jaylen Adams (left ankle sprain). The Hawks started a lineup of Jaylen Morris, Jock Landale, Johnson, Cleveland and Spellman.
