Thabo Sefolosha will not start against the Raptors after the small forward was late to the team’s pregame walkthrough Friday. Tim Hardaway Jr. will start in his place.

The disciplinary action will be for one game, according to Hawks coach Mike Budenholzer.

“Friday traffic in Atlanta,” Budenholzer said.

The Hawks did not hold a morning shootaround in advance of the game opting for an afternoon walkthrough.

Budenholzer said he was unsure whether Sefolosha would return to the starting lineup for the second half.

Hardaway has a career-high streak of 19 consecutive games in double-digit scoring. It’s the longest streak by a Hawks player since Paul Millsap had 25 between February and March of 2016. Hardaway also has a streak of 16 straight games with a 3-pointers.

Sefolosha has averaged 7.6 points, 4.3 rebound, 1.8 assists and 1.6 steals this season.

Dennis Schroder was pulled did not start in a game at the Magic on Feb. 25 after he was late for the team bus. He started the second half.
