Millsap a late scratch versus Trail Blazers

Paul Millsap was a late scratch from the Hawks lineup due to left knee tightness.

The starting power forward warmed up prior to Saturday’s game against the Trail Blazers and experienced discomfort. There was to previous indication that Millsap had an issue with his knee.

Millsap has appeared 62 of the Hawks’ 65 games this season. He missed three straight games earlier in the season with a left hip injury.

Millsap is the Hawks’ leading scorer at 18.1 points per game. He is second in rebounds (7.7), assists (3.8) and steals (1.34).

Ersan Ilyasova took Millsap’s place in the starting lineup.
