Hawks turn into huge Timberwolves fans on Twitter

The Hawks are huge Minnesota Timberwolves fans. At least they were Wednesday night.

The Hawks re-named their Twitter page as ‘Timberwolves’ #1 Fans’ because a Minnesota win over Denver meant the T-Wolves would earn a playoff spot and the Hawks would receive their first-round draft pick in the NBA draft.

The Hawks acquired the lottery-protected pick from Minnesota in February 2015 in a trade for Adreian Payne.

Minnesota beat Denver 112-106 in overtime and now the Hawks will have three first-round picks

And that made the Hawks really happy.
