Hawks’ Nike City Edition jersey inspired by 1970s uniforms

Nike unveiled its City Edition uniform for all 30 NBA teams.

This season’s fourth set of uniforms are like no others.

Each version dives into city and team culture, referencing everything from monuments to franchise legends, to highlight what is unique about each organization and city.

This is how Nike describes the Hawks’ version, which is all black with volt green accents:

The Atlanta Hawks City Edition uniform pays homage to the city’s rich past while looking to the future. Asymmetrical lines and volt accents nod to the team's uniforms from the ’70s, while the design and font take inspiration from the city's cutting-edge music scene.
