Hawks get second look at Utah’s Kuzma

The Hawks got another look at Kyle Kuzma with a second pre-NBA draft workout this week.

The Utah power forward worked out for the Hawks on Thursday. The 6-foot-9, 221-pound power forward also worked was in Atlanta in late April. Kuzma is ranked the No. 42 draft prospect by Draft Express.

Among the others to work out for the Hawks this week were Texas center Jarrett Allen, North Carolina point guard Nate Britt, Vanderbilt center Luke Kornet, Florida State small forward Dwayne Bacon, Wisconsin power forward Nigel Hayes, small forward Nik Slavica (Croatia), power forward/center Egemen Guven (Turkey) and Alabama center Jimmie Taylor.

Kansas senior point guard Frank Mason, the No. 44 ranked prospect, posted a picture of Hawks workout attire on social media on Friday. Mason’s workout with the team was Friday. Syracuse forward Tyler Lydon, the No. 24 ranked prospect, listed the Hawks as one of his future workouts recently.

The Hawks were scheduled to work out North Carolina forward Justin Jackson on Friday. He is ranked the No. 13 draft prospect and could be around when the Hawks select at No. 19 in the first round of the NBA Draft on June 22. The Hawks also have picks No. 31 and 60 in hte second round.
