SunTrust Park map: Seating chart, gates and entrances

The long wait is over, the new Braves stadium is open. The dire warnings about traffic nightmares were definitely overblown and the Braves, well, they’re still the Braves. So, c’mon Mr. & Ms. Diehard, get in the car.

But, where to sit? The new Braves stadium has a capacity of 41,000 seats, including 4,000 premium seats.

When it’s not hosting baseball games, SunTrust Park will host music concerts for artists like Jason Aldean and Def Leppard and Journey. A summer concert series at SunTrust Park will include postgame concerts featuring The Avett Brothers.

Before you buy your Atlanta Braves tickets, check out this seating chart of the SunTrust Park seat sections and entrances.

When does SunTrust Park open?

SunTrust Park’s main gates will open an hour and half before the Braves take the field. The Premium Gate and Chop House gates will open two hours before first pitch.

The stadium’s parking lots open at various times, so check this parking guide for lot opening times, locations and prices. For the 2018 season, there are some new parking features.

If you arrive at SunTrust Park before gates open, the Battery Atlanta offers plenty of food and drink options. Some of our best bets are listed here.

Fans can also purchase the Braves batting practice experience tickets, which begins before the main gates open.

Tiger Woods is back at East Lake. Can he really win again?

I was a golfer before I’d ever heard of Tiger Woods — the pro at the local muni took pity on the skinny teenager with empty pockets — but Tiger Woods made me a golf fan. It started when Woods famously dominated Augusta as a 21-year old in 1997, another early signal that the kid might be something special.  Those were the days...
