1. Julio Teheran pitched five scoreless innings. File this one in the unexpected category: His five six-plus scoreless-inning outings are tied with Justin Verlander for the second-most in MLB. Sean Newcomb tops the majors with six.
2. Johan Camargo is receiving consistent at-bats, and it’s paying off. He had his second game of three or more hits, including a double that scraped across two more runs. He’s hitting .351 with 13 RBIs over his past 15 games.
3. Ozzie Albies’ infield single stretched his hitting streak to a career-best nine games. He’s 18-for-42 (.429) in that span. He’s scored a run in six straight games.
4. Dansby Swanson also had a three-hit night. He continued his excellent work in the seventh inning or later, when he owns a .316 (30-for-95) average.
5. Tyler Flowers exited in the sixth with a right hamstring cramp. He’s fine, he and manager Brian Snitker said after the game. Kurt Suzuki subbed in for him, and was subsequently hit by a pitch for the seventh time this season. Suzuki’s been hit 20 times in the past two years.
