Four key Braves prospects batting under .200 for Gwinnett

Matt Wisler retired 15 batters in a row in one stretch but the Gwinnett Stripers lost 4-2 to the Rochester Red Wings Saturday night at Coolray Field.

Wisler (0-1) went seven innings, allowing three hits and two earned runs. He walked one and struck out eight.

Gwinnett’s hitters are off to a slow start this season.  Seven hitters in Saturday’s lineup have averages under .200. Among them, Ronald Acuna is batting .152, Johan Camargo .158, Rio Ruiz .172, and Dustin Peterson .185.

Sean Kazmar Jr. was one bright spot. When he doubled in the fifth, it gave him 438 hits in his 467 games, passing Jose Constanza (2011-14) for most in club history.

Gwinnett is 2-6.
