The Cobb County School District completed 46 projects at schools over the summer using the one-penny Education SPLOST (Special Option Local Sales Tax).ÊThe district is currently in the process of building and designing four replacement schools: Brumby Elementary, East Cobb Middle, Walton High, Osborne High.ÊÊMore than 800 new teachers and over 1,100 total certified vacancies have been filled by the school systemÕs Human Resources Department.
