The owner of Cert-Pro Painters of Tulsa, Oklahoma, said he pulled up to the drive-through window recently and was told the Tulsa County deputy in front of him had already paid for his food. He decided he wanted to return the favor.

"One of your people did something really nice for me. It seemed like a small thing, but it really changed my day. So I want to do something nice for you. That's what I offered. You pick a house and I'll paint it," Tom Barbour said.

The Tulsa County Sheriff's Office later connected Barbour with a veteran in need and work started on painting his home.

The project should be completed this week.
