The Delta flight was one of five flights originating or landing in the U.S. that recieved a bomb threat Tuesday. The threats were not considered credible.

Flight 55 from Lagos, Nigeria to Atlanta landed routinely at 5:16 a.m. “after an evaluation in conjunction with authorities deemed the threat non-credible,” according to Delta spokesman Morgan Durrant.

Four of the five flights - US Airways, Delta Air Lines, United Airlines and the Mexican carrier Volaris - had landed as of noon ET. The fifth flight was still in the air at that time, but was expected to land Tuesday afternoon, NBC News reported.
