Ugly sweaters are good for more than just being an ice-breaker at a holiday party.

LifeLine Animal Project is offering free adoptions to anyone who comes into their shelters wearing an ugly holiday sweater. The promotion is valid through Dec. 31 and also includes the animal’s spay or neuter, vaccinations and microchip, a $300 value.
