An art showcase that features queer-identified artists will be held in Atlanta later this month.

The event was put together by married couple Cameron Lee and  Rigel Gemini "to elevate local queer artists, promote creativity in Atlanta and engage millennials in the art scene," a press release said. The duo recently moved to the city from Los Angeles.

"Spectra: Atlanta Queer Art Showcase" will include work from Lee and four artists chosen by him: Jon Dean, LaRue Caillet, Savana Ogburn and Taylor Alexander. The local artists will earn 100 percent commission on any sales.

Lee will unveil four new pieces from a galaxy-inspired collection alongside his "Flores Fatales" collection, which debuted in Los Angeles last March. Lee's husband, Gemini — a lifestyle blogger and digital strategist who was named one of "10 Artists to Watch in 2018" by Atlanta's Wussy Magazine — is producing the showcase.

The opening event takes place March 23 from 8-11 p.m. at Revelator Coffee, 691 14th St. NW. Attendance is free with RSVP.
