There will be paving and construction at two roundabouts along Heritage Walk in Milton this week.

The city of Milton said Monday that crews will begin paving work on two roundabouts in the Crabapple area this week.

Work is set to start Tuesday evening and is expected to be complete by Friday morning.

Crews from GDOT will work overnight, from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m., and drivers could expect delays on Heritage Walk at the two roundabouts, located at the intersections of Birmingham Highway and Crabapple Road.

Depending on weather conditions, the schedule for the paving could change.

This work will complete the paving for the Crabapple roundabout, but crews will still need to install lights, concrete islands and sidewalks.

For the Birmingham roundabout, traffic will shift so the west side of the roundabout can be constructed. Crews will still need to install traffic lights and turn lanes there.

GDOT is expected to have the entire Crabapple project complete by June 2018.
