Pine Grove Road in Roswell will be closed for 21 days while crews replace culverts and do construction work. The entire project will last 120 days.

A road in Roswell will be closed for 21 days, the city said Friday.

Workers with the city’s stormwater utility division will be replacing culverts and doing construction work on Pine Grove Road. Work is set to begin on May 24.

Notice will be provided to the affected property owners prior to the road closure. Electronic message boards will be posted in the area to inform drivers.

While the road will be closed for just 21 days, this is a project the city says will last about 120 days. The project could result in an interruption of water service to nearby homes, as crews remove and install sewer lines and replace a water main.

Contractors will notify homeowners in advance if their water is going to be shut off.

The project will be centered near 375 Pine Grove Road and extend 150 feet along the road.
