Super Bowl committee celebrating Gwinnett girls’ flag football league

The Atlanta Super Bowl Host Committee is holding a rally to celebrate the Gwinnett Girls Flag Football League.

The league was started through Gwinnett County Public Schools and the Arthur M. Blank Family Foundation this year to help close the gender gap in athletic participation between boys and girls. The program began in October with teams at 19 of Gwinnett County’s 20 high schools.
