This radio system upgrade is required by Cobb County as the final expenditure in the overall citywide radio upgrade project.

In order for the system to activate the siren warning system, Phase II was required to upgrade the sirens to become compliant with the P25 radio upgrade project.

Other approved expenditures are:

  • $28,000 per year for annual financial audit services to the low bidder Nichols, Cauley & Associates, LLC. This contract has the option to renew annually for five years.
