410 Oakmont Circle in Marietta is selling for $4.45 million.

No one wants to be too close to a sand bunker while playing golf.

So it’s a good thing the Marietta mansion selling for $4.45 million inside Atlanta Country Club is 700 feet away from the closest bunker.

The seven bedrooms, eight full and three half-bathrooms of the home at 410 Oakmont Circle take up about three quarters of an acre inside the country club, according to realtor Marsha Sells.

You can see the owner’s personal touches throughout this home — literally.

That's because the owner is Frank Betz, of Kennesaw-based home design firm Frank Betz Associates.

The family room features a barrel ceiling with exposed bricks that should be straight considering a laser was used when they were being aligned, Sells said.

If you’re a bull in a china shop, feel free to gaze at the main level’s walk-in cellar using its glass walls.

And speaking of alcohol, there’s also a wooden bar framed by a huge, built-in saltwater aquarium.

With drink in hand, you can walk through the double doors of the main suite and head out to the pool and its covered terrace.

Here’s that saltwater aquarium by the bar.

Out there you’ll find a cabana sporting a grill, fireplace, bar and bathroom.

There’s also a rock mountain, grotto, hot tub, a waterfall you can walk behind and a slide.

A poolside bar with stools installed in the pool are added touches.

Nursing a sunburn (and maybe a headache), find some quiet time in the formal library or working study with walls of custom, built-in shelving ready to be packed with books.

For guests who feel the same, they can relax in either the two-bed, two-bath apartment above the home’s four-car garage or the guest house, which has one bedroom and one bathroom.
