It’s (probably) safe to go outside in north Fulton County this weekend.
There’s a chance of rain each day, but the temperatures will stick in the high 80s. On Friday, there’s an “enhanced risk for strong/severe storms” in metro Atlanta, with a high of 89 degrees, according to Channel 2 Action News meteorologist Katie Walls.

There is the potential for high winds and hail formation around 7 p.m. The chance of rain on Friday is 60 percent, with thunderstorms starting in some parts of metro Atlanta in the early afternoon.
The risk of rain dips to 30 percent on Saturday, which will stay hot with a high of 89. If the rain holds off, it could make for a warm day for a variety of outdoor activities, including food and beer festival Alpharetta Brew Moon Fest and the city of Roswell's Slip-n-Slide Extravaganza in Leita Thompson Park.
With Sunday comes another 60 percent chance of rain, and a temperature of 88 degrees. But by Monday, the risk of rain drops to just 10 percent, and you’ll get a relief from the heat, with a high of 84.
