The first residents will soon move into a new apartment complex with direct pedestrian access to the popular Westside Provisions District.

Broadstone Yards, made up of three mid-rise buildings with 251 studio, one- and two-bedroom units, is located at 1084 Howell Mill Road in West Midtown. Amenities include co-working spaces, a rooftop lounge and a fitness center with a Peloton bike, battle ropes, climbing rope and peg boards.

The property has a heavy emphasis on art, with a number of large-scale murals displayed throughout. A six-story abstract mural by Atlanta muralist Michael Jones towers over a saltwater pool.

The art focuses on the “historical grit and commercial roots” of Atlanta’s industrial history, said Hope Cohn, art curator and founder of Hope Cohn Projects, the company the complex partnered with to commission several pieces.

Other art includes a chain metal chandelier from Peter Ferrari and an interactive seating area designed by Georgia Tech’s Digital Lab. More artists featured at the complex include Jeremy Brown, Katie Burke, Myrtie Cope, Steve Dezember II, Molly Rose Freeman, Lacey Longino, William Massey and John Tindel.

The complex was designed by architects Lord Aeck Sargent and Brock Hudgins Associates, a press release said. The first residents will move in this weekend.
