John Bolling will remain in a Fulton County jail after he was arrested early Saturday morning in a high-speed car chase that resulted in injuries for him and an Alpharetta police officer.
Bolling, 49, was driving his Mercedes-Benz 300 around 2 a.m. on Saturday morning. The chase began when an officer with the Alpharetta Department of Public Safety clocked him going 100 mph and swerving on Ga. 400, police said.
Bolling is charged with fleeing and attempting to elude, reckless driving, DUI-less safe, driving without a valid license, harassing communication and aggravated stalking.

Although he received a $15,500 bond on the first four charges, he was given no bond on the last two, which keeps him in jail. Bolling is also wanted on an aggravated stalking warrant out of Forsyth County and DUI from Broward County, Florida.
Police said that Bolling reached speeds of 143 mph during the chase, which ended when Alpharetta Department of Public Safety officer Dustin Bak struck Bolling’s Mercedes in the rear with his patrol vehicle on Rucker Road. Both were taken to the hospital, treated for their injuries and released.

Bak is a 10-year veteran of Alpharetta’s Department of Public Safety. Police from Roswell, Sandy Springs and the Georgia State Patrol were also involved in the chase.’
The chase lasted about 20 minutes. Alpharetta police posted dash cam video footage from it on their Facebook page on Monday.
