Legal Aid of Cobb holds free Eviction Clinics

For those who are struggling to stay in their homes, Legal Aid of Cobb County may be able to help.

Eviction Clinics are held at 3 p.m. every Wednesday (except holidays) at the Switzer Library, 266 Roswell St., Marietta.

Those holidays are July 4, Oct. 31, Nov. 21 and Dec. 26.

Learn about the eviction process, how to file an answer and gain an overview of Georgia law, court procedures and other tips.

Those who qualify for Legal Aid services may share concerns with a knowledgeable and an experienced attorney during a short consultation.

Free consultations occur on a first-come, first-served basis.

Legal Aid of Cobb County is a part of Atlanta Legal Aid Society.

Founded in 1924 by 17 volunteers, Atlanta Legal Aid now has 68 attorneys on staff and 500 volunteers in five counties.
