Tokyo Bay Japanese Buffet passed its follow-up inspection, scoring a 91, according to the Fulton County health department.

The restaurant was originally cited for lack of soap at employee hand washing stations and failure to date food items properly among other violations.

A Japanese buffet in Roswell failed a recent health inspection, according to Fulton County health department records.

Tokyo Bay Japanese Buffet, at 925 Holcomb Bridge Rd., scored a 63 on its Friday health inspection. Any score below a 70 is considered failing.

Violations including lack of soap at employee hand washing stations, food being stored improperly and failure to date food items correctly were noted in the health inspection report.

The restaurant scored a 71 on its health inspection in May, and an 88 on its March 2017 health inspection.

Follow-up inspections are usually done within 10 days of the original evaluation.
