A grand jury indicted a Cherokee County woman on vehicular homicide and DUI charges related to a crash last year that killed a 21-year-old man.

Wendy Millican on March 10, 2017, allegedly drove under the influence of several prescription medications including the painkiller oxycodone, according to the Feb. 13 indictment.

Millican's car crossed the center line on on Hickory Flat Highway into oncoming traffic, which resulted in a four-car crash, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution previously reported. The driver of the second car, Corey Forman of Canton, died.

Millican was indicted on two counts of homicide by vehicle in the first degree and one count each of reckless driving and DUI less safe, according to the indictment.

Specifically, the indictment alleges Millican was under a combined influence of diazepam, nordiazepam, oxycodone and bupropion to the extent that it was less safe for her to drive at the time of the collision.

Millican’s arraignment is set for 9 a.m. March 7 in Courtroom 2A at the Cherokee County Justice Center.
