‘Hip Hop Nutcracker’ returns to the Fox Theatre for one show only

“The Hip Hop Nutcracker” will soon return to the Fox Theatre for the third year in a row.

The show, which sets choreography by the artistic director of a Brooklyn hip-hop crew to Tchaikovsky’s famed score, debuted in New York and New Jersey in 2014.

The contemporary, family-friendly performance has grown from an 11-city tour in 2015 to 29 stops this year. The cast performs in Atlanta on Nov. 26, the Sunday following Thanksgiving, at 6:30 p.m.
