Atlanta Braves fans cheer before a game during SunTrust Park's opening weekend in 2017.

It appears the Atlanta Braves have listened to the complaints of fans and tweaked how folks get to games at SunTrust Park.

The team announced the alterations on Tuesday, about a week before the exhibition game with the New York Yankees on March 26.

In all, the stadium has about 14,000 parking spots.

The big changes are as follows:

• Some lots have closed because of the Cobb Galleria Centre lot opening

• There are more select-game lots

• Drivers can now pay for parking with credit cards at certain lots

• There will be a second Uber pick-up/drop-off spot

• ADA parking will be consolidated in an effort for more accessibility

Lot N25 in addition to shuttle lots 50, 52, and 47 are no more. A new lot, 61, is located next to Cobb Galleria with basically the same amount of parking but is much closer to the stadium, according to a Braves spokesman.

More people than anticipated used Uber to get to the games and the I-285 pedestrian bridge was used by people who worked and shopped in areas south of the ballpark, the spokesman said. As a result, the Braves were able to cut out some of its parking lot partners, like N25, and add the second Uber location to meet the demand.

There will also be an increase in select-game lots (ranging from $10 to $21), depending on the demand.

That means fans will need to stay on their toes and check prices  online.

Hey, remember when the team didn't let people pay for parking by credit card the first few games because they wanted to get fans in the habit of paying ahead?

It seems they struck out.

Seven parking lots will now accept payment by credit card. They are: Red Deck, E29, E31, E35, E41, E42 and E43. The lots are available for pre-purchase up to 2½ hours before first pitch.

The second spot for Uber users will be located at Heritage Court and Battery Avenue, with postgame traffic being routed west on Battery Avenue to Cobb Parkway.

And the original Uber pick-up/drop-off location along Windy Ridge Parkway will now have 12-foot-wide sidewalks and “enhanced lighting.”

Last season, ADA-compliant parking was scattered throughout multiple lots. Now, such parking will be limited to the Red Deck and the N29 lot.

Those who park at the N29 lot can use a shuttle that will pick up and drop off at Battery Avenue just outside the Third Base Gate starting 2½ hours before first pitch.
